Clarence So

Clarence So is a 30 year veteran of creating technology products and building companies from startup to Dow 30 bellwether.  He joined Salesforce in their founding year and spent 23 years serving in a variety of senior leadership roles including business plan writer, Executive Vice President of Products, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.  During his tenure, Salesforce grew from a group of go-getters and a vision, to over 70,000 employees and $30 billion in annual recurring revenue.  Clarence has also advised and invested in several dozen technology startups, over the past 25 years, resulting in dozens of profitable companies, over 30 acquisitions and a few IPOs.  Currently, he serves as strategic advisor or board member to healthcare software companies ArteraAI, Hazel Health, Prognos Health, Skyflow and some stealthy startups.  

Clarence grew up in Toronto, received an Electrical Engineering degree from Queen’s University and an MBA from UC Berkeley.  He currently lives near San Francisco.
