Diabetes is one of many conditions where lab testing plays a critical role.

Healthcare providers (HCPs) order lab testing, in general, for one of four reasons:

  • to help diagnose a condition
  • to determine which therapy would be most appropriate for a patient
  • to monitor disease control or progression
  • to ensure that the patient is tolerating current therapy
