Optimizing Oncology Sales and Marketing with Lab Data

Rather than prescribing every cancer patient the same treatment regimen, oncologists and other interdisciplinary members of a patient’s care team are working together to develop a personalized care plan that accounts for each patient’s particular cancer and how it is manifesting.

In this new world of personalized oncology therapy, the value and the role of laboratory data has become even more crucial. Each patient’s specific genetic makeup and test results often guide the prescribing decisions to maximize chances of success in beating the disease as quickly as possible. Thus, lab test data provides a strong, direct indicator of likely prescribing behavior among physicians.
